Join us in getting to know the affiliate industry’s top trailblazers this week!

The digital marketing industry plays a significant role in our day-to-day lives. Whether we are merely scrolling through paid ad campaigns on Facebook, striving to become successful and independent affiliate marketers, or operating mention-worthy brands in any niche market. Though our articles have been exclusively dealing with tips and tricks to grow your business, we think it is time for you to meet some of the biggest names in affiliate marketing.

Meet the industry’s all-stars by reading the rest of the article below!

Neil Patel

Neil Patel is a guru in everything that is connected to affiliate marketing success.

First on our list is none other than Neil Patel, a New York Times bestselling author who is best known for his blog. Patel shares his guides to affiliate marketing success on his platform, covering hot topics such as SEO best practices and advanced techniques. If you have ever searched for affiliate marketing tips, you are more likely to have stumbled across his blog on Google’s top search results.

Patel is the proud owner of two websites, Subscribers and NP Digital.

He was also mentioned in several respected magazines, such as Forbes’ Top 10 Marketers, Wall Street’s top influencers, and Entrepreneur Magazine’s top 100 most brilliant companies. Patel was further recognized as one of the 100 entrepreneurs by former United States President Barack Obama.

Fun fact: The estimated worth of affiliate marketing industry all-star Neil Patel’s companies is between $5 million and $10 million.

Pat Flynn

Pat Flynn had many innovative and noteworthy milestones, from his books to his tripod.

Next up is Pat Flynn, an entrepreneur, Amazon, and Wall Street Journal bestseller who earns his living from affiliate marketing and other ventures. Flynn’s turning point was in June 2008, when he was laid off from his position as an architect, and looking back on it, Flynn considers this event to be the best thing that could have happened to him.

This minor misfortune pushed Flynn in the right direction, and he went from making an income of about $8000 to making around $50,000 each month over his various channels by 2013. He is a big believer in teaching and helping others become better digital marketers, which is why he created 3 books on his journey and career: “Superfans”, “Let Go,” and “Will It fly?”.

Flynn also has a few projects he is working on, such as Smart Passive Income and a separate podcast on the same topic, the SwitchPod, a tripod for vloggers, and the FuseBox.FM, which is a podcast playing software.

John Chow

John Chow is our new definition to a self-made man.

Third in line is John Chow, who is considered somewhat of an icon in the affiliate marketing industry, and many think him to be a trailblazer. Like Flynn, Chow’s business took off in an exceptionally short span of 2-3 years.

John Chow’s starting point was a rags to riches story, where he took himself from having very little to where he is today – one of the most well-paid affiliates in the industry. Chow’s monthly income is estimated between $40,000 and $50,000. Chow has claimed that he only works two hours a day, and what can we say? His track record of finances proves he knows what he is doing.

John Chow is a published author and is recognized as one of the top 50 Canadian digital marketers, and his website has about 200,000 visitors a month. He was also featured in the Vancouver Sun, the Globe, the New York Times, Entrepreneur Magazine, BC Business Magazine, and other well-known titles.

Darren Rowse

Last but not least is our favorite blogger Darren Rowse.

Darren Rowse is a well-known blogger and affiliate marketer in the affiliate marketing industry who started working on his first content-based platform in 2002. His main blog probloggers.com emerged in 2004 and now has more than 7000 articles. Rowse has about 30,000 visitors each day on that website alone. A part of the blog was further turned into a book for Wiley Publications back in 2008.

He published his eBook in 2009 31 to build a Better Blog Workbook, which was considered an enormous success. Rowse had additional books such as Copywriting Scoreboard for Bloggers, Problogger’s Guide to Your First Week of Blogging, which had a large part in building his success.

Rowse’s monthly earnings are estimated at about $40,000 to $45,000.
